About Me //Profile
Born and raised in PA Dutch country, I now reside in South Philadelphia with my husband Jay, and English Bulldog, Hank. I constantly seek out meals, people and places with plenty of soul. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to some truly remarkable places around the world, but I realize there really is no place like home. I’ve worked in a variety of fields doing marketing, sales, PR and communications for nearly a decade and started this blog as a sounding board to document the things I love and write about topics I like to research. I am not a professional journalist (insert cringe emojii here) and you won’t see me using super fancy photography or writing about extravagant, big-ticket items. My goal is to live the good life without spending a small fortune and I hope you’ll find my spirit of adventure contagious and my sense for practicality refreshing.
